In 2017 our Cooperative started exporting seafood to four European countries, which is why its preemption grew by 73%, while the unloading at port grew by 58%. For a very small Cooperative, we managed to process 20 tons of seafood and succeeded in doing so.
Since 2017 our Cooperative has the possibility of not only accepting but also processing fish 50 meters from the sea. In 2018 we held the first fish auction attended by representatives of restaurants, hotels, chain stores and fish resellers. In the same year we were visited not only by Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, but also by the delegation of the Peoples Republic of China for possible cooperation.
That same year we realized two projects with the help of European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, changed the anchoring blocks and moorings, and fish market started with yearlong work and increased offerings (marinated anchovies, sardines, breeding fish, etc.)
