In the mid-90s of the twentieth century, we gathered to discuss the possibility of forming an Association with the aim of organizing and securing safe berths for our boats.
A few years later we founded the Association and from the Šibenik-Knin County on 9th of May 2001, we got a concession for the port on the maritime good in Tribunj and became sole fishermen's concessionaire in Croatia.
However, because we were a non-profit organization, we did not manage to solve all of our new problems (work interruption, sewing nets for fish, surveying, control and replacement of fishing gear etc.) so we decided to establish a Cooperative.
