With hard work and much love, we are now slowly advancing to the realization of our vision for Cooperative as a long-lasting and commercially viable activity while emphasizing quality, fidelity, and sustainable and responsible fishing.
Since 2017 we have been organizing the actions of cleaning the sea bottom of the fishing port. In cooperation with the Institute of Oceanography and Fishery in Split we are disposing and collecting waste using trawlers. We also sort and dispose old motor oils and fishing nets.
Our future plans include repairs to the Saint Nikolas pier, both land and sea, and waste sorting containers that will be obligatory for usage by all port users. We are members of the Lagur Galeb Group, a local action group that brings together fishermen from the public, civil and private sectors, which is trying to promote sustainable development.
