1.2.1 “Tribunj tradition knows that fish is a delicacy”

The project “Tribunj tradition knows that fish is a delicacy” was financed under Measure 1.2.1. “Strengthening the competitiveness of fishery and aquaculture products” within the framework of the implementation of the Local Development Strategy in Fisheries of the FLAG Galeb for the period 2014-2020.

The aim of the project is to strengthen competitiveness, increase fish consumption on the market, and enrich the domestic gastronomic offer with traditional delicacies from this area by jointly performing the catch of fishermen and investing in innovative features at the local level.

Through the implementation of the project, a fish smoking chamber was purchased and the fish salting process was revitalized. The result of the project activities are new products – smoked and salted fish. In addition to new products, the project activities were focused on marketing in order to place new products on the market and improve the visual identity.
